Most guys like a nice, cold beer. Sure, you’ve got that one guy at work that only drinks white wine, and we all know what that’s about. Anyway, some dudes take their love of beer to the next level—sometimes even winning world records. You’ve gotta see ’em!
Party Foul in 5, 4, 3…
Wow. Just wow. How many times have you spilled your beer in your life and committed a “party foul”? John Evans here is a master of not spilling beer. He set the world record for “most pints of beer balanced on an individual’s head”. Want to guess how many there are? 237. Two hundred and freaking thirty seven pints of beer balanced on his head—not only is it amazing that he didn’t spill any, it’s amazing that his neck didn’t break under all of that weight. Then again, Mr. Evans isn’t a svelte man, but still.
Mmm…Ultra Rare Antique Beer
All right, so this isn’t a person setting the record, but it’s still pretty awesome. Pictured above is the most expensive bottle of beer in the world—the lager cost a lucky bidder $16,000. Why is this beer so expensive? The story is actually pretty amazing. This beer was on the Hindenburg. As in the famous German airship that caught on fire and crashed in New Jersey. This all went down (heh) in 1937, so not only is the beer very old and still in tact, it also happens to be a major part of history. Now for the important question: did the winning bidder drink the beer? Would you?
Bartender for Life
The old man picture above, Angelo Cammarata, has been a bartender for 77 years. He’s not 77 years old—he’s in his 90s. Holy crap, that’s a lot of bartending.
Tallest Glass of Beer Ever Poured
8 feet of beer. Oh my. If you had to choose, would you take the girls, or the beer?
Tip: the correct answer is the beer.
The Best Server in the World
Why can’t this dude work at my local watering hole? It takes 15 minutes to get a $4 beer. That wouldn’t be the case if I was being served by Reinhard Wurtz, the man who broke the world record for carrying the most beer—over 20 mugs at one time.
